Interacting with the media there after, Sania Mirza talked about what fitness meant to her and said: “Fitness is defined differently by everyone but for me the most important thing is being healthy. As tennis players, what we do is not the healthiest thing. We almost abuse our bodies. We try to be fit and avoid injuries. Our fitness, as professional athletes, is different.”

Republic Day – the very day our full-fledged Constitution of India came into effect! Every year since 1950, India commemorates 26th January in a phenomenal way. While the capital city beholds the honourable President of the nation unfurling the national flag followed by the much awaited Republic Day parade, live displays and exhibits, the other parts of the country engage in patriotic fervour and spirit as well.
This Republic Day, the Country Club family all across the country and abroad joined the crowd and brought the entire nation together. While all major Country Club locations right from Delhi to Chennai and Dubai were artfully decorated with tricolour balloons and flags, the D-Day began with the enthusiastic hoisting of our national flag followed by the national anthem and a fervent parade by the brimming bunch of kids.

Street food enthusiasts in Hyderabad were in for a zesty treat this weekend. Keeping with the tradition of enthusing its members with quality events, the Country Club Begumpet organized a 2-day Street Food Festival on 15th & 16th December.
The members happily gorged on some of the best street foods from across the country and thoroughly enjoyed the myriad flavors of a widespread menu under a single roof.
