Free shuttle from Country Club Kodai to Kodai Lake

Dear Members,

Thank You for your feedback and we are happy to say we have acted on it.

Starting immediately we have a scheduled pick up and drop to the Kodai lake.

Resort – Kodai Lake : 10:00, 14:30 and 18:00

Kodai Lake to Resort : 10:30, 15:00 and 18:30

Note: The shuttle starts from the resort so in case you want to stay back after 18:00 you will have to find your own way back.

The shuttle ride is free with a MAP food plan @ INR 400 + tax per person per day or a AP food plan @ INR 550 + tax per person per day.

If you don’t chose a  meal plan a small fee is charged at the resort, however preference is given to meal plan members.

Now with the flexibility of a free ride to the lake, members can have better flexibility in visiting the lake and more importantly save money on taxi’s which are expensive in that area.  The Kodai lake is the center of the city and has boating, horse riding, a park, cycling, a little bit of shopping and a few food joints.  The ride is around 20 minutes. Attaching a few pictures of the Kodai property’s breathtaking view and in case your wondering – every room has this amazing valley view.

    I was at the Counry Club Valley Vista, Kodaikanal only two days back and sorry to say that No such Free Shuttle service exists.

      Dear Mr. Ramakrishnan, as mentioned above in the blog, the shuttle service is free only for families buying a meal plan at the resort else you have a choice to pay only for the shuttle service used which is also at a nominal price.

    Country Club or Country Vacations does not have a property in Ooty however we have a very nice property in Bandipur National Park http://www.CountryClubBandipur.com which is 90 mins away from Ooty. Day trips to Ooty from Bandipur can also be arranged. If you are looking for a hill station Kodai http://www.countryclubkodaikanal.com/ is also a good choice.
